#HaveYourSay: What’s your view on increased costs of living?

SIBUSISO MADELA – Government should take ownership of companies and make their own oil. Stop private ownership and do everything under government supervision.

NOMVULA MASHOAI – First, government should address the scourge of corruption. Secondly review our trade policies and prioritise improving infrastructure.

PAULO JOAQUIM – The inefficiences of government cause the increases in prices. People need to stop asking for handouts and vote for policy that grows the economy.

JOANNE GREENBURG – Government is bleeding its citizens. A VAT increase to recoup stolen money or lost to corruption. Government takes and citizens pay for what they take.

MATHABO MATTHEWS – The one question I have is if Lesotho is selling petrol at R10 per litre, why are we spending R16 per litre?
