Suspect in dock for robbery after stealing from delivery man

A man (20) is in the dock for robbery and possession of an unlicensed firearm. Kgomotso Masha is accused of allegedly robbing a delivery man from Mochachos Norwood.

The State is alleging that on 4 May, the accused placed a false order at Mochachos over the phone. He ordered a burger, chips and a Coca-Cola. When the driver arrived to deliver his order, the accused allegedly pointed a gun at the delivery man and demanded cash. The delivery man only had R300 in his possession and gave it to the accused, together with the food.

On 5 May, the accused allegedly placed another order and this time he robbed the delivery man of R4 000 cash, food and an iPhone.
