The festival ended with an intense final between St Anne’s Diocesan College from KwaZulu-Natal and C&N Meisieskool Oranje from Bloemfontein. Oranje won 3–1 making them the festival champions for the fourth year in a row.

Shelley Jones, a member of the national hockey team and a representative for the Investec Hockey Academy, was present at the festival to show her support.

“Being involved in youth hockey is my passion, so to be able to watch good calibre school hockey like this is really, really special. I think this tournament has created a really incredible platform to showcase school talent,” said Jones.
