All treats and no tricks at the Zoo

Kirsty, Caeli and Matthew Surrall.

On 31 October, the zoo premises was abuzz with young vampires, little pirates, itty bitty fairies and a small zombie or two, to mention a few of the adorable children’s outfits, many of whom were accompanied by their parents, who also dressed up for the Old Hallows Eve celebrations.

Various festive activities were hosted and prizes were handed out all over the zoo as it is transformed for one day into a magical How’loween wonderland. Sing-a-longs were also held with familiar favourites such as SpongeBob Squarepants, Dora the Explorer and, for the first time ever, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles who flexed their muscles and showcased their exceptional Ninjutsu skills.
